Extensive hike🎒 and then a delicious stop for ☕🍰 or lunch🍽🍺 dinner is part of a perfect excursion 👍🤗

After the tenant change, it is now great again at the Seehaus. Fast service and very good food.

Positive: it's nice to sit outside. Service friendly. Cons: rip off. Our portions for eating were very small. The pan where the cheese noodles were in was not even half full. The icing on the cake was that the coffee was probably soluble coffee or at least inferior filter coffee (sour and watery) and cost 3.80 euros (!!!). An impudence. Never again.

Service absolutely rude and arrogant. The roast pork was not edible. Lukewarm, dumplings dry, meat tough and fibrous. Nobody expects the food to come after 3 minutes, but the quality has to be reasonable. We were asked what we would have expected. To sit outside on a cyclist OK. Never eat again.

Great service, totally friendly staff, special requests no problem at all, food was really delicious 👍 again, can only be recommended.

Ordered schnitzel with fries. Get with potato salad. A portion of french fries was brought to the attention. BUT this was calculated extra! In addition, the dumpling for frying was not fresh, but warmed up and hard.

June 2020: Only three stars, as the waiters were a little overwhelmed, unfortunately it took a long time to order and our waitress grumbled a lot. My soup was also forgotten. But since it is a nice atmosphere, since you also have time on vacation, we would come back. However, the executive board should give some thought to the coordination. Drinks and food were good, but there is still room for improvement. The location is really great. If we are in the vicinity again, we will be happy to drop by again.

We spent one night here on our hike on the Höhenweg. The room was absolutely adequate for the price. The rooms are very cozy and the food was very good. Really great and therefore the 5 stars was the atmosphere in the evening. We spent a great hut evening, which was mainly due to the service and the landlords.

There have been new tenants since October 2019 (they were once before). Since then you can only recommend it. From the Seehausparkplatz you walk for about 1.5km along the forest path and you can go for example. settle down on the beautiful, sunny terrace. The food is very delicious, partly Austrian home cooking so to speak - but also coffee and cake. The hospitality went fast and they were all very friendly. The hut also serves as accommodation for hikers etc. A piece of Austria in the Fichtelgebirge ❤ - it makes wanderlust easier 😉. We will be back definitely.

Nice to stay, only until the service brings the ordered, that lasts. A better system with table numbers would be useful ....

Closed in winter. What I also understand. According to the sign in the window, there may be a new leaseholder soon.

Scenic place - highly recommend

Great bier garden on top of a mountain with views. If you go in April there is a pond full of frogs. Beautiful forest trails surrounding this restaurant.
